Secondary Operations
Spot Welding
Hudson is home to an entire line of resistance (spot) welders capable of handling a variety of materials, thicknesses, and fasteners. From joining assemblies, adding PEM nuts or threaded studs, Hudson Tool can complete your assembly without the parts ever leaving our facility.
Butt Welding
Our high-volume butt-welder is capable of joining any wire form end-to-end. With this machine, we are able to join the ends of D-Rings, Tie-down rings, chain links, etc. We have programmed the machine to handle a variety of thicknesses and materials.
TIG Welding
In order to save our customers cost on logistics and keep orders running on time, Hudson invested in the machinery and training necessary to keep customer parts in-house for TIG welding. This type of weld offers a clean and strong seam that needs no post-weld cleanup.
Press Assemblies
Hudson has several presses that are dedicated to secondary operations. In these presses, we perform clamping and staking operations, as well as adding additional bends and holes to parts when the operation cannot be performed in the production die.
